Legendary rock band Alice In Chains will celebrate the September 29th release of their highly anticipated new album, BLACK GIVES WAY TO BLUE, with an outdoor mini-concert on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” BLACK GIVES WAY TO BLUE was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters) and is Alice In Chains’ first album in more than 10 years. Among the album’s many highlights is hit single “Check My Brain” and title track “Black Gives Way To Blue,” a tribute to the band’s late lead singer, Layne Staley. Alice In Chains (vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell, vocalist/guitarist William DuVall, drummer Sean Kinney and bassist Mike Inez) made headlines recently when they revealed that the song features a special guest appearance by Elton John. BLACK GIVES WAY TO BLUE is the latest chapter in the story of Alice In Chains, a band with a remarkable career consisting of multiple Grammy nominations, more than 17 million albums sold worldwide, a dozen top 10 radio hits and two No. 1 records on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart.
